Fix the Location Not Working Issue on Instagram
Location Setting
Make sure that you have allowed the app to track and use your location. To check that, first, go to your phone’s Settings and look for the Apps or Applications option. Tap on it and scroll to find Instagram, or search it using the settings search bar. On the Instagram details page, you will see an option of Permissions. Select it and see if Location permission is turned on or not. If it is off, turn it on.
Clean Cache
Clearing the cache will also erase your drafted reels, so only do this after making their copy. To clean the cache, go to the phone’s Settings, choose Apps, scroll and select Instagram. You will enter its details page. Here you will see Clear Cache or a similar option. Tap on it, and confirm the cleaning.
Update
Instagram is always working on new features and fixes. They often roll out bug-fix updates that resolve your problem with ease.
Restart
Restart your device and restart your application. This might not work in all cases, but it works for many devices.
Switch Account
If you have logged into multiple accounts. Then tap on your username in the upper left corner. And switch to another account. Try to use the feature there. If it is working, then the problem might be internal. To fix that, go to the Instagram Settings, tap on Help and choose Report a Problem. Complete the process and file your complaint.
